File format

EasyView ActiveX supports the reading / writing of file:

• TIFF conforms to the TIFF 6.0 TechNotes 2 specific also multipage containing images
  • BiLevel (Uncompressed, PackedBits, CCITT Group III and Group IV)
  • Grayscale 4 or 8 bitses for pixel (Uncompressed, PackedBits, LZW, JPEG)
  • True Color (Uncompressed, PackedBits, LZW, JPEG)
•  Adobe PDF conforming to the specification 1.3 inside which it is possible to include
  • Bilevel images (CCITT Group IV)
  • GrayScale or True Color images (JPEG)
  • searchable synthetic text

Strength's points

• Scale-To-Gray visualization

  The bilevel images are visualized inside the client area of EasyView ActiveX through our "scale-to-gray"  algorithm that improves the quality of viewing zoomed image without producing a decrease in the performances.

• Generation of optimized PDF files

  EasyView ActiveX is able to separate the text plain from the photos of a document and to compress separately the two layers to get an optimized PDF file that contains the text as a G4 compressed bilevel plain and the photos as a rescaled JPEG plain without loss of quality. The viewer capable to recompose the original image opening the files produced.

• Color filtering

  To the purpose to underline objects, particular situations or to improve the quality of the image is possible to operate on color images to filter or to emphasize particular tonalities of color.
